Resep Thongngasi ala Thai (Pork fried in breadcrumbs)

This dish is Japanase, and you should always be able to order it in a Japanese restaurant. In Japan it's known as Thongngasi.

Ingredients
- 1 kilogram pork loin
- 1/2 bag breadcrumbs
- 1 small cabbage
- 2 eggs
- 1 small carrot
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups vegetable oil
- Japanese soy sauce for dipping.


Preparation:
1. Rinse the pork loin and cut it diagonally and equally into 12 pieces. Marinate with the eggs, salt, and pepper. Leave to stand.
2. Rinse the cabbage and carrot, finely slice them, and place on one side of the dish.
3. Heat the vegetable oil and wait until it is hot. Reduce the heat by half. Dip the pork into the breadcrumbs and make sure both sides are coated. Divide them into three piles ( or four pieces per pile). Deep fry each pile separately until they turn yellow. Place them artistically in the dish with the prepared vegetables. Serve with Japanese soy sauce.
